Elena is an ecofeminist with over a decade of experience in grassroots movement building, campaigning, advocacy and community organising work, mostly with international non-profit organisations including ActionAid and CREA, a global feminist organisation based in India.
Elena has a background in international and EU law, and is passionate about the intersection between climate, gender and social justice. She co-founded the Feminist Hiking Collective, a transnational group based in Italy, for which she writes about feminism, power, politics and movement. In her spare time, Elena is a student of Shaolin Kung Fu.
