Zak joined Clean Cities in spring 2025 from London Councils, the umbrella body for London’s local authorities, where he led policy development and influencing across net zero and air quality. He previously worked at Asthma + Lung UK where he campaigned for an enhanced Environment Bill and for stronger action on air quality from cities. In his spare time, you’ll either find him on his allotment, taking pictures of things, or in a small kayak.
