Claudio joined the Clean Cities Campaign at the end of 2021, after leading strategic communications for the global climate campaign 350.org and being a strategic advisor for the Global Gas & Oil Network. He brings over ten years of experience in the climate and urban sustainability field, having previously worked at Greenpeace International, the European Climate Foundation and ICLEI – Local governments for sustainability, where he helped design and launch the Urban Transitions Alliance for post-industrial cities.
A former climate and energy journalist for Italian national media with a background in development studies, Claudio brings to the campaign a thorough understanding of narrative development and strategic communications. In his spare time, Claudio writes fiction and is currently completing a second Master’s degree in Comparative European Literature and Linguistics. He has a penchant for vintage bikes and dark chocolate.
