Let’s make London a leader in child-friendly mobility
London has made progress in recent years with the adoption of School Streets but for too many children, the school run is still the most dangerous and polluted part of their day. Every year, 443 children in London are seriously injured travelling to school.
It’s time to go further and make London a pioneer in child-friendly mobility, to fully roll-out effective school streets alongside other comprehensive measures that truly create Streets for Kids.

We’ve teamed up with London changemakers, Solve the School Run, to ask councils to act ahead of the elections on 7th May. We are calling on all candidates to commit our three-point manifesto to change the face of the school run forever – to be safer, greener and healthier.
